Chez Aqil, le geste se transmet de génération en génération.
Son père, puis son grand-père avant lui, exerçaient déjà ce métier. Depuis plus de trente ans, il perpétue à son tour cet artisanat hérité de ses ancêtres.
Dans son atelier, il travaille des peaux de mouton, notamment celles d’agneaux noirs à la laine frisée, soigneusement sélectionnées et importées d’Ouzbékistan. Chaque pièce est façonnée à la main, selon des techniques anciennes qu’il continue de faire vivre au quotidien.
Aujourd’hui, Aqil transmet à son tour ce savoir-faire à son fils, prolongeant ainsi la lignée afin que son métier ne disparaisse pas.
At Aqil’s, the craft is passed down from generation to generation.
His father, and his grandfather before him, already practiced this trade. For over thirty years, he has carried on this ancestral craftsmanship, inherited from those who came before him.

In his workshop, he works with sheepskins, particularly those of black lambs with curly wool, carefully selected and imported from Uzbekistan. Each piece is handmade, using traditional techniques that he continues to keep alive every day.

Today, Aqil is passing this know-how on to his son, extending the lineage so that his craft will endure.
